Sree Lakshmi Jabbireddy Charitable Trust is a Private Charitable Foundation that works largely with local communities on initiatives linked to their Health and Hygiene.Its diverse and wide ranging interventions includes, among others, Health awareness and education, Mother and child care, Issue based campaigns on prevention of HIV/AIDS, Ocular health, Diabetes and other life style related disorders, School Health and public health campaigns etc,.It began it s work during the year 2004 and it s health outreach interventions have currently spread over to 22 districts and reached around 2,27,000 rural poor forming part of Andhra Pradesh. , Health Awareness and Education , Community Based Care and health outreach , Free Health Resource Centres ie, One at Obulavaripalle in Cuddapah district and the other at Padmaraonagar in Secunderabad. , Community Ocular Health , Reproductive and Child Care , Diabetes Care , Child Health and Immunization , Training of community Health workers , Essential medicines acees programme , 2 Nos of Health Resource Centres one at Obulavaripalli in kadapa district and the other at Padmaraonagar in Secunderabad which have so far provided the following services to around 30000 poor and migrant communities. , Family Planning and Contraception , Curative services , Management of STD , Diabetes care and management , Ocular health , Child health and immunization , Training Programs to Paramedics , Awareness and prevention education on HIV/AIDS , , B) Community outreach programs: , Organized 46 Mega Health Camps in around 22 districts of Andhra Pradesh benefiting around 2, 27,000 Rural poor. , , Organized 32 School Health Programs in various schools and the children were screened for ocular deficiencies, deworming and dental flossing. , , The trust has organized 15 Marital counseling Camps, to educate the newly wed couples on contraceptive choices, birth spacing and personal hygiene. , , The Trust has trained 5 community Health Facilitators and deployed them at various Gram Panchayats to train the PRI Staff in community health
