SOUKYA FOUNDATION CHARITABLE TRUST , SOUKYA Foundation was started with a vision of making Complete Health Care accessible to the common man through Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Yoga, the focus being Preventive, early intervention and cure. SOUKYA Foundation runs several charitable and free clinics in different parts of Bengaluru benefitting patients from all sectors of society. Conducting Research & Development Education etc are among the various activities undertaken by the SOUKYA Foundation. , The trust is also recognised by Scientific and Industrial Research Organisations (SIROs). , Dr Issac Mathai is the Managing Trustee and Mrs Suja Issac is the Trustee. , Dr Mathai s Rural Holistic Health Care takes care of Community Health and is an integrated model of AYUSH Systems with Allopathy as the Centre is in a Government Primary health Centre taking care of about 40,000 population in 38 villages since 2013. , Focused work in this area covers the population of 5791 people belonging to Jadigenahalli Grama Panchayath , Since 2008 - Holistic Homeopathy Clinic (HHC) Shishu Mandir School for Orphans were patients are coming from about 45,000 in 15 villages in and around Bhattarahalli , HHC - Christel House School for the Poor since 2007, KSRTC DEPOT since 2009, KARNATAKA STATE RESERVE POLICE since 2010 provides Free Health Care. , As part of Centre of Excellence in Homeopathy for Respiratory Diseases workshops were conducted and Training National & International Doctors were provided. , Centre of Excellence has a Respiratory Laboratory. State of art with the latest investigation by Diffuse lung Carbon Monoxide identification of Total Lung capacity with DLCO and about 4 Spriometries are available for checking various Respiratory conditions. , Online course on Orientation to Research Methodology was conducted in collaboration with Chest Research Foundation and with the technical support CCRH, Delhi. , Research Publications: , 1) The Homoeopathic Heritage ISSN : 9070-6038 Vol 40, No. 2, May 2014 on Respiratory Tract Infection in a case of COPD: A Case Report , 2) Homeopathy for All ISSN: 0973-9823, Vol.16 No. 5(173) May 2014 on An Observational Study on URTI 40 Children with Homeopathic Medicines and Dietary Support , , , Dr Mathai s Rural Holistic Health Centre (DMRC) is an initiative of SOUKYA Foundation Charitable Trust work in the Rural Area , The work of DMRC of SOUKYA Foundation is presently carried on in Government Primary Health Centre, Jadigenahalli Gram panchayath Hoskote Taluk Bengaluru Rural. , Dr.Issac Mathai & Mrs. Suja Issac constructed and donated a building for rural work in Memory of Late Rev.Fr.Mathai Nooranal (Dr.Mathai s father) which was inaugurated by Honourable Chief Minister Shri.Siddarammiah on 15.11.2014, in the premises of Primary Health Centre of Jadigenahalli Grama Panchayath during The Third International Conference Global Health Futures. , Papers published on this programme , Published in the Institute of Social and Economic Change (ISEC) working papers and available in www.isec.ac.in , Journal of Holistic Health care-Research Traditional medicine-Holistic Approach to improve Community Health AYUSH approach.
