Special features of the organization

Society for Industrial and Technical Education of Goa with Goa Shipyard has started its Skill Development Institute since 2012. Unemployed youth from Goa have been trained in Welding in a 3 months course and many have been certified at 3G level by Indian Register of Shipping. The Society also runs community development programmes in village panchayats in Goa and trained more than 2000 persons mostly women and girls in different trades from flower making to computer literacy.
