SESTM has been for the past 12 years working with the weaker sections of the society in the district of Jabalpur , Mandla , Katni and Sager and Nersinghpur of Madhya Pradesh. It had run two major projects in the Jabalpur district. The organization with its support from World Vision ADP, Jabalpur and WCD department and other Agencies , i. A health and nutrition programme was organized in Gram panchayat Dongarjhansi, Jabalpur for malnourished children. In this programme mothers were trained to cook nutritive food. It was a 7 days programme in which the children were given this nutritive food made by their mothers. The weight of the children was recorded in this time period. The data showed that there was a marked increment in the weight of the children. This programme was repeated after every alternate month upto 6 months.
