Education for the Katkari Tribal children living in the hills of Khandala. The Katkari are a nomadic tribe and considered as one of the most backward tribes in Maharashtra. The Social Welfare Center Society offers them an all round development providing education of the children who have not been able to go to school as education was never considered due to the nomadic nature of the tribe and the children were made to engage in household works.
