Special features of the organization

Snehakunja Trust was initiated in the year 1976 by late Dr. Kusuma Sorab with the objective of Rural Health and Development. Its activities started with a small hospital in a remote place of Honnavar taluk where no other health service was available easily. The same hospital now has developed in to a 10 bedded hospital known as Vivekananda Arogya Dhama, close to the sea shore in Kasarkod village of Honnavar taluk. The hospital practices Integrated Medicinal System which includes Ayurveda
