Sivaparvathy cultural society

Sivaparvathy Cultural Society, a society registered under Travancore Charitable Societies Act ( T 1448/2010) with the objective to promote and sustain cultural, religious, charitable, educational, and literary activities, and to provide a forum for exchanging ideas and views with various national and international organizations of similar interest. Various social programs are held throughout the year to preserve and cultivate our fine and treasured culture and also undertake other activities pertaining to the objectives of the Society, like organizing yearly CHILANKA RURAL FEST , with view to take classical art and dance forms to the rural areas and give local residents and opportunity to familarise with art forms .This will showcase various performances in various forms of art and culture where we intent to rope in famous panel of artist, personalities , celebrities and scholars for make its successful event year after year.. We have affiliations with Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy and Kerala Folklore Academy . , Society also gives special emphasis to promote National, International and intercultural exchange and cooperation in the cultural and art sphere and pay particular attention the rights of children and youth to culture. , As part of this Sivaparvathy cultural society started conducting festivals in association with different Govt and non Govt Organizations like Tourism Department, Govt Of Kerala, Lions clubs International etc , in Rural areas by adding several activities and programmes to promote art and culture in Rural areas.
