Shri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashrama

Ramakrishna Vivekananda ashram Kalaburgi is proactively trying its level best to chisel the personality of this youth of Hyderabad Karnataka area which has been categorized with 371J by the Government. With the passage of time the nation with an imperishable heritage, is searching for its identity. Ramakrishna Kendra is catering and instilling the identity of national character of youth , With a period of more than a decade the the Ashrama is functioning with a noble cause to provide value based education to more than 1000 boys and girls of rural Karnataka, that too the children from nomadic and semi-nomadic parents, the students are from marginalized BPL family. They are identified and chosen by choice by personal visit and rapport of Pujya Swami Maheshwaranandaji with parents in Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadgiri, Raichur, Bellari, Koppal, Gadag and Belagavi districts. The results are performance to the last 15 years is above 95 %. The school is residential in its nature and looks after the uniform, books and food for inmates. The school activities include prayer, sports, and messages of Swami Vivekananda. , School and ashrama s credential is the visit and interaction with 1200 students on 25th Dec 2010 by then President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Sir was kind enough to appreciate the talent of students and motivated the efforts of the school.
