Shri AMM Murugappa chettiar Research Centre popularly known as MCRC is a non profit research orgabnisation haveing its ideologies entered at developing technololgies their dissemination relevant for rural appliation to bettr the lving standard of people beloonging to the rural section of the soceity. Several technologies on the thrust areas like energy, wasteland develpmemnt , resource sonservation, biofuels, biotechnology, health, nutrition, biogas, solar, paper from alternate materials, anaerobic digestion system, natural dyes and organic farming are developed and disseminated for societial uplift. The centre has implemented many project with financial assistances from DBT, DST, MNES & CAPART. MCRC has won many awards and laurels .
