MISSION STATEMENT , , Shekinah Foundation has a vision about the persons with disabilities and the poor who are neglected, given unequal treatment and subjected to discrimination in Society. Keeping in view their upliftment and rehabilitation, Shekinah intends to provide them with all the necessary facilities like meaningful education and training so that they can meet the challenges of life. Our mission, therefore is to provide moral and Physical support and encouragement to the disabled who are often seen as a burden on their parents, and are experiencing mental depression and frustration. Shekinah strongly believes that empowerment of persons with disabilities and the poor can be achieved only through education and training with the support of philanthrophic people of the community. The ultimate mission of Shekinah Foundation is to ensure equal opportunities, protection of rights, and creation of a positive environment for the full participation of persons with disabilities in all the areas of social life. , , , Shekinah Foundation, an organization founded and managed by persons with disabilities, has been working for the empowerment of disabled since 1992 in the areas of education, training, rehabilitation, advocacy and awareness generation. The organization and its Founder Mr. Ch. Ishakar, a physically challenged person has achieved the following awards in recognition of best services. , , 1. National Award by Dr.A.P.J.
