About the organization

Special features of the organization

The organisation started with engaging in documenting and reviving traditional handicrafts of the region. It fitted in its mandate of addressing the issues of culture and livelihood. Then it started venturing in any area which concerned the development of the region including Education, Governance, Disaster Management, Eco-Tourism. Soon Sewa Himalayas became the reference point of all the governmental and non- governmental interested in developmental initiative for the people of Chamba and started to facilitate the work of other developmental agencies by contributing in research, awareness campaign, SHG building, training and programme execution.
