SARASWATI SEVABHAVI SANSTHA work approach has always been constructive development coupled with local community participation. The organization has been working on diverse issues, confronting the marginalised sections of rural society, like: , Poverty alleviation at the village level through accessing various government schemes , Health awareness wherein reproductive and child health promotion; HIV AIDS prevention and sanitation enhancement were undertaken , Elimination of child labour; rescuing existing child labourers and rehabilitating them through education , Agriculture development and extension programs with a special emphasis on promotion of organic farming , Developing livelihood access to destitute women apart from those belonging to the Scheduled Castes , Promotion of saving and credit groups with an objective of developing self help groups amongst women , Enhancing access to water resources for drinking and irrigation purpose , Micro-credit promotion for marginalised sections of the rural society , Youth development through skill training and information dissemination , Solid waste management training and demonstration at the village level , Natural Resource management
