Sandarsan Katyhakali Vidyalayam functions for the promotio,n propagation and enrichment of classical theatre art forms of Kerala especially Kathakali. Over the past 14 years this institution has contributed significantly to enrich the cultural tradition of Kerala with its creative and meaningful new productions of Kathakali plays. Higher trainings in Kathakali, new productions, popularisation of Kathakali and staging of Kathakjali in various venues are the main activities. It encourages young artists by providing them opportunity to hone their talent in this theatre, Now Sandarsan is the most reputed Kathakali institution of Central Kerala.
