SAMRIDDHI FOUNDATION has brought up tremendous socio and economic development of the needy community within the span of its effective working since last 2 years of duration. In the field of women empowerment it has successfully formed 150 SHGs which are functional and have been linked up with the banks for their livelihood promotion. Around 500 women SHGS members have been trained on trades like Poultry, Piggery, Goatary, Pickle Making, Pappad and Bari Making, Bamboo Craft, Jute Craft, Sewing And Cutting, Etc. Income Generation Activities have been initiated by the SHG members. 800 children of age 6 to 14 years are benefited by the Non formal education program and till date around 1500 out of school children have been enrolled successfully in government school for continued education. The organization is handling the managing the affairs of Tourism. The organization has actively participated in the plantation and environment conservation activities. Numerous Research and study has been done on the issues like education, health, mother and child care, etc. Improvement in the health status of women and children has been brought up. Around 150000 rural populations have been fully acknowledged on the issues related to HIV AIDS. Apart from this activities like health and hygiene, RCH, Environment conservation, Tourism, Research, etc. Overall impact of the program and activities is quite effective. the organization is working for overall community development of the deprived, underprivileged and marginalized section of the society. The organization is working in more than 200 villages of Ranchi, Latehar, Garhwa & Palamu Districts in Jharkhand. More than 150 SHGs are functioning in an effective manner. 100 SHGs have been linked up with the nationalized banks of their respective areas for financial assistance. Around 2500 children of age group 6 to 14 years have been enrolled to government schools for continued education. Around 750 women, youths and girls of poor community have been induced entrepreneur skills on trades like Food Processing, Beauticians, Goatary, Dairy, Poultry, Fisheries, Duckery, Agriculture, Tailoring, Embroidery, Bamboo Craft, Doll Making, Etc. The organization is running Child labor school in which around 100 children engaged as child labor have been enrolled and benefited by the education & vocational training for their rehabilitation in future. Majority of the women of the target areas are aware of HIV AIDS. Tremendous improvements in the health status of the target community are found. People are adopting healthy practices for preventing themselves against infectious and communicable diseases. Women are empowered enough and actively participating to eradicate the community level social issues like Alcoholism, Child Abuse, Child labor, Witchcraft, Women Violence, Dowry, etc. 300 children of poor community are being educated by means of formal school education program. Around 500 out of school children have been induce education skill through this program and have been enrolled successfully in the nearby government school for their continued education. The organization is working for the promotion and sustenance of the Tribal arts, & Culture. 1500 mixed fruit plantation has been done on community land to promote livelihood as an alternative source of income apart from agriculture. Community health services are being provided by the organization for the poor and marginalized people. Awareness has been brought up on health, hygiene, nutrition, safe delivery system, RCH, immunization, environment conservation, watershed and modern agriculture farming and sanitation. The organization has identified and rescued 40 adolescent girls from being trafficked and handover to their respective guardian which is one of the greatest achievements at organization level. In the field of convergence with government schemes majority of the target SHGs and their adult family members have been linked up with job cards, Maternity benefit, Indira awaas, red & yellow cards yozna. The organization has devoted team constituted of experts of Disaster management. It is often participating to support the sufferers of drought, famine and flood. Overall impact of the program and activities is effective and fruitful.
