Special features of the organization
SAMOOHAN KALA SANSTHAN , , ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS :- , , A couple of young & dedicated art lovers & dramatist formed a theatre group & named it Samoohan Kala Sansthan . The purpose was exploring & establishing traditional, folk & modern theatre. Another focal point was to develop the interest of common man in the field of Art & Culture. Samoohan also opens a platform for providing education on different types of performing Art forms. The group also encourages new talents to prove their ability. Since 1997 the group is actively involved in raising different issues of society through its own acts. , , ACHIVEMENTS:- , Sky high enthusiasm & the never say die spirit of the young artists led to several shows of mime play Ek Sach Ka Maunabhinaya under the direction of Mr. Rajkumar Shah. This is the only group of mime in the state of Uttar Pradesh, which is recognized and has created a mile stone by performing in Purvanchal Mahotsav, Cultural Department U.P. (1998), National Mime Festival, New Delhi (1998), U.P. Sangeet Natak Academy Festival (1999), National Mime Festival, NEZCC, Dimapur (1999), Kolkata (2001), NCZCC (2001), UPSNA (2007) etc. , , Under sponsorship of Sangeet Natak Acadmy, New Delhi, Samoohan produced & played Sabahi Nachavat Ram Gosain , Ek Vakaya Aisa Bhi & Subhagi . It also organized different workshops for performing arts. For children and young aspirants besides the group also played active role in presenting lot of dramas & shows of Azab Ghazab Duniya Ke Log , Kafan , Girgit , Ek Sach Ka Maunabhaniya , Subhagi , Sabahi Nachavat Ram Gosai , Maya Moh & Soz-E-Watan . , , Soz-E-Watan the story of a bloody revolution was based on 1857 freedom struggle. It was a light & sound based unique production. From 2007 to 2009, Nation celebrated the 150th anniversary of the 1857 Freedom revolution. During this period Samoohan has performed six shows of Soz-E-Watan in Lucknow, Allahabad, Azamgarh & Mujaffarnagar. The above shows were conducted with Sangeet Natak Acadmy, New Delhi, NCZCC, District Administration Azamgarh & Mujaffarnagar. Ansal API, Reliance Communication Ltd., SBI, BOB, UBI & many big business organization have extended their co-operation and came forward by sponsoring the shows. , , In 2007, Samoohan with the joint banner of UP Sangeet Natak Acadmy has organized state drama festival with firm & sound support from District Administration Azamgarh. Under leadership of Rajkumar Shah, who is a National Scholar (Department of Culture, Govt. of India) in the field of theatre and nominated member of UP Sangeet Natak Acadmy Council by UP Govt. , Samoohan has performed in different states of India. , , The energy level is high & getting good support from audience. The only motto Lakshaya is to create and establish awareness towards folk & modern theatre with different aspects of performing arts. This effort by Samoohan is backed by the dedication & commitment of its team towards fresh creation for the betterment of all.
