ABOUT SAMAJ O SANSKRUTI , Samaj O Sanskruti, a socio-cultural organisation, is a humble craetion of few people of emminence from the field of art, social service, culture and music. The main objective of the Samaj O Sanskruti to promote, protect and propagate the rich cultural heritage, art, folk art, folk culture, rural culture, traditional music and create awareness among the people on different issues by using traditional form of music and dance. Samaj o sankruti organies unique programme Ei Aamari Gaon(this is our village) with an objective of the programme to revive the rich culture , tradition, custome and lokakatha which are now at the verge of extinction from the society and too to popularise it among the inhabitants of urban areas. unique effort of Samaj O Sanskruti to arrange such a beautiful programme, that reminds our origine and rich village culture. Prior to this programme competition is organised Zonal level and final ot the state level in Bhubaneswar, where the participant were requested to perform the song that carries essence and flavour of the village. , Not only cultural programme but every year this year too Ishwar Chandra Sahitya Sammana was given to emminent writer, that is award every year in the name of emminent writer, administrator and Social worker Late Iswar Chandra Samal . , From this year Samaj O Sanskruti decided to felicitate emminent persons from the field of social service, culture and industry in the memory of late Chandra Madhab Mishra, a legenday social activist, culture lover, industrialist and politician of the state. , Apart from of the cultural and literary activities , Samaj O Sanskruti works for the social cause like Rakshya Bandhana in orphanage, distributing kambal to the street helpless and organised blood donation camp in the month of February in association with different social organisations. Samaj O Sanskruti organises awareness programme on different burning topics regularly . , We in Samaj o Sanskruti help the brilliant students for there study and treatment with our little capacity. We too organise charity programmes to help the affected people of different natural calamities, , The Organisation has a greater dream and has put its effort to open a Jaraashram (Old Age Home) to take care of the neglected senior citizens.
