Special features of the organization

REAP Foundation, initiated a project named Naya Kadam , with the vision to eradicate illiteracy amongst this group of children. Naya Kadam, (meaning-a new step) symbolises an awakening , where we support these children and help them to take their new steps towards their empowerment. The project aims to educate these underprivileged children to encourage children to join schools. Volunteers from REAP, visit the slum themselves and provide all the children with quality education. All the children we have at present are between the age group of 4-12 years. We enrol these students into schools and provide them with basic necessities such as bags, notebooks, stationary etc. Naya Kadam also ensures that children are exposed to various activities such as painting, dancing and singing develop their personal skills. We also organize donation events in these slum areas and make difference to our society in any way possible.
