Special features of the organization

RNBA has been working tribal community in the northeast region of India for the last 25 years. We have presence with more than 100 villages with 20,000 families. Working 15 NGO partners. RNBA is supporting grassroots NGOs in capacity building and accessing fund and support from well wishers and donors with Govt. line department. We have three major donors; they are Bread for the World/EED Germany, Tata Trusts Mumbai and NABARD. With the support of Bread for the World/EED RNBA has supported 6 NGO partners in 33 villages with around 500 families. Community mobilization, Improved eco-system, market based livelihood and NRM are the major activities. On an average, 3000 rupees incremental income have been ensured by the partners across the target areas. Under Tata Trusts support program, We have Tribal Livleihood program, System of Rice Intensification and Diversion Based Irrigation which covers 13 NGO partners covering more than 15000 farmers. In SRI 10 quintals peracre has been ensured, in DBI 2000 rupees incremental income has been ensured. 115 SHG have been under NABARD support with bank linkage to several SHG. Financial literacy campaign and MEDP programs have been carried out under NABARD.
