READ Conducted 5 consultations with Mill Management at Erode District Level , 79 Mills Representative participated and aware about Sexual harassment at workplace act 2013, Tamilnadu Hostels Regulations Act 2014 and Internal Complaint Committee Formation, through this approximately Directly or Indirectly 39500 Adolescent girls and women they working safely, because reduce the sexual harassment and receiving entitlements. , , Through this consultations 30 Spinning and Garments hostels are registered under Tamilnadu Hostels Regulations Act 2014 at District Social Welfare Department, so around 15000 Adolescent girls are directly benefitted, because after the register their hostels, Government officials made visit and Monitoring the Textile Hostels. , , , Through this consultation and continue follow up with mill managements, now READ is one of the member in Internal Complaints committee in 6 Textile Industries. Through this Adolescent girls and women now they are take initiate share any problems and issue in the Internal Complaints Committee meeting, now reduce issues and problems inside mill hostels and working place. Therefore 3000 Adolescent girls and women are directly benefitted. , , 168 Sumangali victims they got tailoring training in last three years, All of them applied free tailoring Machine from the Government, some of the people bring the tailoring machine and doing tailoring in their home, through this per day Rs.200/- earned, some of the victims joined nearby local garment factories. , 118 Sumangali victims they got computer training in last three years, After the completion of Computer training all of them joined in different kinds of institutions like Grocery shop, fuel stations, Departmental Stores, Computer Centers, Browsing Centers, etc , , READ initiated Sanitary Napkin Unit called Happy . We form the Self Help Group (SHG), this Group have 12 Members, among them 7 members (Ex Textile Workers) are working in the Sanitary Napkin Unit. Per week around 200 300 packets are produced, READ only monitoring, Facilitating and marketing linking roles only made. , Through this we help improve the health and hygienic condition to Rural Adolescent girls, Women and Textile Workers. , , 41 Tribal villages Conducted medical Camps through Mobile Medical Unit run by Tamilnadu Government
