Special features of the organization
The Society was found by Late Rajarshi Rananjay Sinh with the vision to enrich the society with knowledge and educate the farmers to impart the overcome the challenges in agriculture. , Society is running under its umbrella RRPG College situated in Amethi & Krishi Vigyan Kendra-II, situated in Sitapur U.P. , RRPG College comprises 9 post graduates departments spanning a vast range of subjects partnering to all branches of social science, arts, commerce and science. , The college having well furnished class rooms, equipped laboratories, rich digital library and extensive greenery. , RRPG College has 2 centers of distance learning namely IGNOU & UPRTOU. , The UGC funded, 3 study centers are successfully operating by college is i.e. Mahatma Ghandhi Study Centre, Indira Ghandhi Study Centre and Nehru Study Centre. , RRPG College is A Grade Institution accredited by autonomous body NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) working under UGC, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, in 2013. , RRPG College has been recognized as College with Potential for Excellence . by UGC, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, in 2016. , Society actively participates/organizes Sports activities throughout the year. , Society organizes Half Marathon to motivate rural youth by providing attractive prizes. , Society actively organized various social welfare works like Eye camps, Disable camps, Mass marriages etc. , RRPG College provides a wide range of facilities for sports and hobbies, has large play ground, a hi-tech auditorium, shooting range, well equipped indoor stadium, swimming pool etc. , RRPG college has NCC & NSS units working effectively and students are continuously participates in camps and competitions held at different part of country. , The college family consists of about 7000 students belonging to all streams of life, castes and religions and about 125 teachers and non-teaching staff. , Krishi Vigyan Kendra is a pilot project funded by ICAR, New Delhi is successfully running by Ranvir Rananjay Degree College Association from 2012 in district Sitapur U.P. for upliftment of farming community in 9 allocated blocks of the district. , KVK regularly conduct OFT, FLD, trainings and other extension activities as per need of farmers and district. , KVK have administrative building, farmer hostel, 35 acre instructional farm, fish pond, orchard and 6 demonstration units with technology park, Fodder & crop cafeteria. , In short span of time KVK developed vast linkages with ICAR institutes, SAU s and other agencies involved in the same field and got popularity in between the farmers. , Till the end of 2016, KVK organized 14 OFT, 400 FLD, several training, distribute agricultural literature, distribute 700 qts. seed of grain, pulse, oil seed and sugarcane, 50,000 planting material, 190 qts wormi compost, 80 kg bio control agents etc. in between farmers. , KVK scientists and farmers are regularly honored by different agencies and societies. , KVK play a vital role in seed replacement, seed treatment, mechanization, soil testing, vaccination, post harvest management and promotion of entrepreneurship in between the rural youths.
