The Puducherry Co-operative Book Society was started in 1997 to publish and distribute books, conduct book exhibitions, and other related literary activities. It is governed by the elected board of directors. , For the past 20 years, every year conducting book fairs and literary programmes. So far published more than 100 books. There are more than 90 book publishers, distributors and sellers from across the country are participating in the fair. More than one lakh books have been displayed for 10 days.
