Special features of the organization

The following activities so far done by Project Swarajya: , , 1- Project Swarajya has started its activities with a campaign programme on Right to Employment in Orissa in the year of 1989. , 2- The organisation has pioneered in the field of drug abuse prevention and Anti liquore movement in 1992 when liquor tragedy took place in Cuttack City. As a result the then Chief Minister stopped country liquor during that period. Presently our organisation running two nos of Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts in Orissa. , 3-Our organisation has initiated a campaign to prevent and protect the Olive Redly Sea Turtle, Horse Shoe Crab and Mangrove forest in Orissa Coast. A nos of books. reports have been published by the organisation as well the agencies like Wild Life Institute, NIO including GOI refer that books and reports. In this regard a advocacy work for implementation of a policy to use Trawl Guard (An indigenous device for Turtle conservation) has been done by the organisation. , 4- Project Swarajya has intiated a campaign against the trafficking of women and children in Orissa in 2001. Now the organisation is managing a Short Stay Home for distress women. , The organisation running two nos of special school for child labour. Besides, the organisation has a good net work in the state.
