Project Concern International/India (PCI/India), is a registered Charitable Society and is an affiliate of Project Concern International. Project Concern International is a non-profit health and humanitarian aid organization dedicated to enhance health, end hunger and overcome hardship. PCI mission is that the most vulnerable people in the world will have the power to lift themselves out of poverty and to create vital, healthy lives for their families and communities now and for the future. It is a leading international health organization with over 50 years of experience that saves the lives of children and families around the world by preventing disease and providing access to clean water and nutritious food. PCI reaches out to over three million people a year with programs in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and North America. , , PCI/India has been active since 1998. The India country office is located in New Delhi and has regional offices around the country. PCI/India has developed a diverse portfolio of programs in the areas of HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support; polio eradication; water and sanitation; humanitarian assistance, children at risk, skill development. PCI has skilled dedicated staff to achieve mission. , , FROM CONCERN TO RESULTS PCI/India s current and recent accomplishments include: Around 1 million individuals reached directly and over 4 million individuals reached indirectly through community mobilization to improve MNCHS behaviors among women of reproductive age in most marginalized community; over .14 million individuals directly mobilized against polio and around 1 million were reached indirectly through various project activities; 0.22 million children immunized; 70,000 students reached for sanitation, hygiene and hand-washing; over 800 students were provided skill development training in various trades.
