Special features of the organization

Prayatan has been providing Day Care Programmes, distributing free medicines to the poor psychiatric patients, vocational training and subsequent employment or other means of earning their livelihood so that they can be self dependent for last many years., At present PRAYATAN is running two Kiosks in Chandigarh at PGI and Sector 17 Local Bus Stand Chandigarh, where these patients are working under the supervision of one parent., Till date Prayatan has rehabilitated 18 mentally sick patients.
