Special features of the organization

Pragati Rath is a non-profit making registered organization (society) having 12A & 80G registeration,working in Jhansi (U.P.) and Tikamgarh (M.P.) districts of Bundelkhand region, which is among the most backward areas of India. We are working here in 8 villages and other backward colonies of Jhansi (most of whom are tribal villages) on education, health, women empowerment, skill development, providing vocational trainings, liaison connecting people to government schemes, income generation programs, social awareness generation, etc. In all the 8 villages our Free Non-Formal Education Centers and Stitching Centers are going on. We give various types of free trainings as computer literacy, fashion jewellary making, stitching, incense stick & candle making, mehndi and envelope making, etc. to help people become economically self dependent. We are running a Fashion Jewellary Making unit at District Jail, Jhansi where lady prisoners make jewellary.
