PFI FOUNDATION is an international NGO based in Assam with its HQ in Guwahati and branches in Silchar, Patherkandi (Karimganj), Lakhipmpur and Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). The Foundation focuses on various kinds of socio-economic welfare activities and work to promote community empowerment through awareness generation programmes and strengthening of local community organization through campaigns, preparation of information materials, youth leadership, self help groups. A major thrust area is Vocational and Life Skill Training, Information Technology for Development (ICT4D), technology transfer and integrated rural development programmes.
