Peoples Craft Training Center

People s craft Training Centre founded in 1991 working with deprived sections of the society/People with disability/women and children. We have formed 800 women self-help groups and developed Panchayat level federation and made them self-reliant. In Thurinchapuram Block of Tiruvannamalai District developed a rehabilitation program for 2700 people with disability. As part of this program A day care centre, an early Intervention center for the children with disability, vocational training centre for People with disability and community intervention adult people with disability. Educating the community members on Clean India and construction of House hold Toilets, promotion of organic farming and Kitchen garden. We have our own rehabilitation workshop to support people with disability for their mobility and seating devices. Climate change awareness is being created and promote plastic free villages and Tree plantation. We work in close collaboration with the District Administration of Tiruvannamalai for all the above programs. A software for the maintenance of the database of PWDs has been developed by us and given to the District Administration .
