Special features of the organization

In 1995 we shut down the electrocution chamber and put an end to the 72 year old practice where in 20,000 street dogs used to be brutally electrocuted to death by the Corporation of Chennai. We initiated the WHO recommended mass Animal Birth Control Anti rabies Immunization program in our city .Every year since 1995 , an average of 9000 dogs have been sterilised and immunised against rabies and a result of which the incidence of human rabies in Chennai has been nil from 2009.
