Partnering Hope Into Action Foundation is a charity working to tackle poverty across India. We were established in 2005 as a Public Trust. , Our team, partners and networks have roots and knowledge in sustainable development work in India stretching back more than fifty years. , Phia is taking forward the work of its co-collaborators who had successfully bid for a grant from the UKaid DFID and implemented one of Indias largest civil society program from 2009-2016, which was called the Poorest Areas Civil Society (PACS) programme. PACS worked in 7 of Indias poorest States to help socially excluded communities to claim their rights and entitlements more effectively. In total, PACS worked with 225 Civil Society Organisation (CSO) partners, covering 90 districts, 517 blocks, 22,404 villages and 23,206 Community Based Organisations (CBOs) to reach 9.6 million people.
