PARENTS ASSOCIATION FOR THE MENTALLY HANDICAPPED PERSONS SECUNDERABAD

Our organisation is the first association formed by the parents in the state of Andhra Pradesh in the year 1986. We are having two projectss ie. special school for the differently abled below aged of 18 years and for 18 years and above we have vocational training centre. In special school we impart training in special education, physiotherapy yoga, occupational therapy , psychological assessment, counseling and guidance, speech therapy, music and dance, behavour modication apart from basic training right brushing of teeth to taking bath etc. we want them to be independent. In vocational training centre we impart training , candle making, paper bag making and also sale them. We have 30 staff members thats include special educators, paramedical staff , vocational instructor, and other administrative staff. we have successfully completed 29 years. We have our own building and two vehicle for transport. In the month of july 2015 we had opportunity to meet H E President of India during his visit to R.P.Nilayam, Hyderabad on 6.07.2015.
