Padmabhushan Kuzhur Narayanamarar Foundation is involved in the area of promotion of Kerala traditional percussion art forms. the foundation is formed in the fond memory of the legendary panchavadyam maestro Padmabhushan Kuzhur Narayana marar. The foundation has undertaken training of Kerala traditional percussions like Thimila, Chenda, Maddalam, Edakka. Also the foundation has constituted an award once in a year, to a senior percussion artist, who has contributed to the art.
