Ougree Theatre Repertory is one of the active theatre organizations in Manipur where eminent Gurus in different discipline of Arts, working together for the promotion and dissemination of Manipur Culture. , , For the time being Ougree concentrates its activities in theatre and striving practically and theoritically for a new language of theatre. Theatre of Simplicity is the ongoing experiment on theatre since 1990. , , The repertory organised theatre workshops, seminars etc. every year produced many commendable plays and took participation in many festivals and competitions held in the state.
