Nrutyayan is a leading institution in the field of Odissi dance & music which , has been striving for past twenty years to promote the cultural , heritage of Odisha. About 300 students of India and International origin , are being trained at his institute, Nrutyayan. About 100 nos. , Students have received Junior/Senior Scholarships from the Govt. of , India, 10 students have received Sringaramani Title from Sur Shringar , Samshad, Mumbai. 12 nos. students received Junior Fellowship from the , Deptt. of Culture, Govt. of India. About 30 nos. students have been , empanelled in I.C.C.R, New Delhi. Many of his disciples have received , awards including the prestigious Mahari Award, Sanskriti Samman etc. , The students have participated in different cultural activities , Including project work in Germany under DAAD (German Academic Exchange , Service) Fellowship. One students Sangeeta Dash has been honoured with , State Academy Award and Leena Mohanty with Bismilla Khan Award of behalf , of Central Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi. About 25 nos. students , have been recognised as A Grade artists of Doordarshan Kendra. Another , students Kumari Madhumita Mishra is done her Ph.D in the field of , Odissi dance with the topic. The Jagannath Temple and Sculptures under , Guru Sri Durga Charan Ranbir. the students of Nrutyayan have been , Participated in different major dance festival in India and abroad , ogranised by Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi, E.Z.C.C., S.Z.C.C., , N.Z.C.C., Dept. of Culture & Tourism, Govt. of Orissa and other , private cultural intuitions.
