Nrityaangan

Nrityaangan is a registered trust based out of Mangaluru, India. The organization aims at propagating the art form in and around coastal Karnataka by organizing workshops, lecture demonstrations & dance festivals that will nurture the next generation of artistes and provide them with performance opportunities. Nrityaangan aims to take the divine art forms to the common man. Today any form of Indian Classical Music or Dance has been patronized by only certain sections of the society, mostly by those who are artistically inclined. Nrityaangan attempts to bring the common man to the auditoriums and appreciate the performer s attempt to depict a piece of literature through expressions and dance. In the last few years of its inception Nrityaangan has been organizing Samarpan & Manthana, Two annual dance festivals and also has held workshops, lecture demonstrations in and around the coastal city of Mangaluru by internationally acclaimed artistes and Gurus.
