1. Appointment of a fully dedicated team which will carry out the project and which will be developed into a local resource , 2. Project Inception Training of project staff to build capacities so that the they are able to work towards fulfilling the objectives of the project , 3. Village level mobilization campaigns, meetings and door-to-door contact to spread awareness about Different Development / welfare Schemes and its provisions , 4. Meetings with PRI representatives and discussions about the details of collaboration, expression of commitment by local teams to help panchayats , 5. Obtaining formal Panchayat resolutions expressing keenness to work with local NGO and its team and affirming commitment to the partnership , 6. Discussions on increasing work demand at the village level through village meetings , 7. Exposure visits of panchayat functionaries and people from the villages to successful watershed/NRM projects where they understand the value of this type of work and are committed to integrating them , 8. Capacity building of panchayat functionaries on Different Development / welfare Schemes and NREGA and its provisions , 9. Capacity building of panchayat functionaries on NRM and the types of interventions that are possible , 10. Participatory planning exercises with village people, for identification of possible work which can be integrated into the Different Rural Development / welfare Schemes and plan , 11. Preparation of draft detailed action plan and budget for NREGA works by Project Team and panchayat functionaries
