NIKHILA UTKAL HARIJAN ADIVASI SEVA SANGHA

Our NGO Nikhila Utkal Harijan Adivasi Seva , Sangha is a state level registered voluntary organization, dedicated and committed to the upliftment of the dis-advantaged sections of the society. At present, our organization is engaged in running one residential Secondary School for Scheduled Tribe Students in Sambalpur district of Orissa state with financial assistance of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, and one residential Primary School for Sch. Caste students and one integrated Rehabilitation Centre for addicts in the district of Bhadrak, Orissa with financial assistance of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. More over, our organization is also managing one rehabilitation centre for women victims of trafficking at Bhadrak in Orissa state with financial assistance of the Minstry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India. Besides the NGO is implementing one T. I. (HIV/AIDS Prevention) project with AIDS Control Society and other programmes like- Community Mosquito net Impregnation programme, R. N. T. C. P. programme for improvement in public health. In the Past, the NGO has implemented national cr che program, shorthand and type-writing training program and Handloom and hand knitting training program with financial assistance of the govt. of India. Different ministries of govt. of India, Orissa state govt., central social welfare board, state medicinal plant board, Orissa and National AIDS control organization have come forward to add assist our organization in implementation of different welfare programmes. , Our organization has a team of dedicated and sincere volunteers, who can shoulder any responsibility. Ours is a written constitution and bye-law and the president and governing body members are, democratically, elected. Every year the accounts of our organization is audited by one chartered accounts farm. , We have vision to take up new projects for upliftment of the dis-advantageous society of our state in future and have vigour to face the challenges in course of activities.
