Neethi Vedhi

Neethi Vedhi is a human right organization which supports the empowerment process and right conscientization of marginalized groups especially Tribals, women and children. Organizing awareness sessions on human rights and beneficial legislations for the above mentioned groups is a major activity of Neethi Vedhi. We also provide free legal aid to the victims of attrocities and violations. We conduct court cases to support the victims. Issues affecting public at large are taken up and we attempt to file Public Interest Litigations.We also provide counselling to those who are emotionally distressed. From 2008 onwards, Neethi Vedhi is working as the Service Provider recognized by the Kerala Social Welfare Board under the provisions of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. We also bring out leaflets and hand books on laws and human rights for the marginalized groups.We try to foster the culture, language and art forms of tribals.
