For overall development of a person in particular and society in general, education plays a very important role. Realising this fact, NEEDS gives emphasis on providing education to each and every individual so that they can achieve their goals/targets and hence connect them with the development and growth of the nation. NEEDS performed the Road show of several cultural programmes and stage programmes to spread their vision to the illiterates. , NEEDS has a program to generate awareness about the preservation of our art and cultural heritage. India is a land of diverse cultures with an immense physical, religious, racial and linguistic variety. It is due to variations in geographical, climatic conditions and due to influence from outsiders, whether invaders or colonizers. Greatness of India has been in accepting the customs and traditions of others and inter-mingling them with the existing. This is visible in all aspects viz; music, dance, painting, sculptures, architecture, arts and crafts, fairs and festivals, languages and literature, cuisine, social customs, ceremonies and traditions, religions, rituals, artifacts, monuments etc. , NEEDS organise cultural activities and programmes to promote the art and culture. NEEDS promote Art and culture through play and stabilising library to spread the cultural heritage. NEEDS promote the Art, culture and heritage through audio and visual CDs. , NEEDS is interacting with women to attend several programmes performed by it. They have joined hands with us to improve their social status in the society. NEEDS is taking care to spread education, awareness about the pitfalls of foetus infanticide and female foeticide, child marriage, purda system, domestic violence, omission of the rights of widows and other disparities in society with them. NEEDS is committed to promote respect and dignity to women. Prevention of Domestic Violence Act has come as a huge relief for women but the , Act will serve its purpose only if it is implemented in the right spirit. Even in the 21st century representation of women parliament and state assemblies is very nominal. We must harness all support we can get to attain political empowerment of women. Inheritance judgements in favour of distribution of ancestral property to women is a welcome decision of the Supreme Court. It has been the consistent policy of NEEDS to strive for right representation of women on its entire educational, professional and other platforms in the society. , , NEEDS is keen to insure the development of livelihood among rural community. To support rural people we conduct informative seminar and workshop; provide informative education and early child education in rural areas, incorporating the local people by undertaking constructive works like village level micro planning, environment conservation through members of Gram Sabha. , NEEDS helps the underprivileged sections of the society.
