We are working on HIV/AIDS under National AIDS Control Organization. We have Targeted Intervention project on Injective Drug Users given by Punjab State AIDS Control Society. We provide the needles and syringes to the IDUs for safe injecting and make them aware about HIV/AIDS by counselling service to them and their spouses. Along with it we make them all aware about safe sex and other reasons of HIV/AIDS. We link them with OST centre where they can start the free medicine given by government so that they can reduce their injecting habit and can make themselves safe from the cause of HIV/AIDS. Moreover, if we found any IDU HIV reactive by testing at ICTC Centre which is done of every IDU on half yearly basis by us, then we make him/her linked on ART centre of our district where the testing of CD4 is done and medicine can be started accordingly. Our society give them and their society so many other facilities and services like General Medical Test on quarterly basis and treatment of abscess by our ANM and Visiting Physician. Moreover we provide them so many other social benefit schemes, and facilities which can be helpful for their family like adhaar card, blue card, forms for new houses etc. We organise health camps in society, do meetings with legal and political persons to make our work better which can be very helpful for our society. Our society staff do counselling to teach general public and our IDUs about HIV/AIDS and the ways that how can be take our self prevent from HIV.
