As the output of project activities in the Baiggachak areas where organisation started its work with primitive tribal community Baiga, Grain banks and seed banks are formed and developed into functional among 50 villages. For agricultural production enhancement, land leveling, technical input incoporation and development of various kinds of water harvesting structures like, ponds, bunds, earthen dams also developed. All the activity has supported by the contribution of community level stakeholders. Education volunteers are identified among village communities and provided capacity building and skill development training for them to continuous functioning of bridge courses, adult education centers, special session for girl children and their family members to improve the level of school enrolment, retention and qualitative learning. , Bio - diversity documentation programme has started throgh village level forest education group, the same group start to facilitate the process of creating awareness on Forest Right Act and its implementation in the villages. The process of Gramsabha Strengthening and formation of women SHGs had started through two governt of MP supported projects, MPRLP and TEJASWINI among 150 villages of Mandla and Dindori districts. Apart from these, MPRLP and TEJASWINI has its focus on NREGA, government level convergence, development of micro entreprises in the villages. Anoter intervention of NIWCYD is in Tourism and livelihood with the support of minstry of tourism Govt. of India and UNDP, the village where the project has launched is now elevated as one of rural tourism site by UNDP. , In Urban slums and platforms, NIWCYD is running programmes for streat and slum children. The present intervention is at Jablpur, Bhopal, Katni. In Nagpur urban ares , project focus was on HIV infected groups. , One significant and replicable outcome of our rural intervention is materialised in the form of Hydroulic ram with the capacity to irrigate nearly 40 acres of land in the Baigachak regions of Dindori district.
