Age group of 5 to 16 Blind Girls & Boys residential School, Education, Self mobility, Sports, Music & singing interschool competitions opportunity to the blind person. Free Hostel facility is given to students. Total 60 blind girls & boys are taking education. , , 2. N.A.B. Residential Workshop for Blinds , Near Ratnadeep Housing Society, Behind Vikas Nagar, Hotgi Road, Solapur. Age group of 18 to 40 blind persons are given training of making chalks, candles, lamps, statues, office files, handlooms, bookbinding, wire bags, cane of chairs etc. self earning & rehabilitation of blinds & free hostel facility is given to students. Total 40 blind trainees are taking training. , , 3. Mamata Deaf & Dumb School , Indira Bhavan Near Shahid Bhagatsing Market, North Sadar Bazar, Solapur. Age group of 6 to 16 Deaf & Dumb girls & boys residential school, drawing, craft, sports, acting, fancy dress, dance through this medium education is done and free of cost hostel facility is given to students. Total 88 Deaf & Dumb girls & boys are taking education. , , 4. Blind & Handicapped Equipment and Advice Centre , Near Ratnadeep Housing Society, Behind Vikas Nagar, Hotgi Road, Solapur. All kinds of handicapped blind, deaf & Dumb are given government S.T. free pass, railway free pass, guidance for service and self job and rehabilitation is provided. Along with no loss, no profits on this base equipment are sold. , , 5. Blind persons are given financial help for self job. , 6. In city & district eye camp is run by institution for control on blindness and , removing blindness every year in camp. , , 7. C.B.R. project is successfully completed in Mangalweda for blind persons , education, social and economical rehabilitation project is run by field workers , rehabilitation of blind persons is done. , , , , 8. Group Insurance scheme for blind person is started by NAB. , 9. Distributing medicines and goggles to needy and blind persons are provided , by NAB.
