Special features of the organization

Due to climate change uncertainties of monsoon have quite increased leading to frequent flood drought and salinity. Eastern UP being largely a rainfed area it has become still more vulnerable to climate change. Our efforts have led to release and promote a number of stress tolerant crop varieties against flood drought and salinity and this helped improve and stabilize productivity of this region. Large scale seed production have also been started largely by farmers to meet their requirements.
