About the organization

Special features of the organization

The main thrust of the Trust is to foster value system in the society by conducting Carnatic Music Concerts that are accessible for all people to listen to, free of cost. , The area of activity is at present confined to the promotion of classical carnatic music with emphasis on its inherent values and traditional excellence. This is sought to be achieved by arranging 4 to 5 concerts every month and a series of concerts(around 60) during the December Music Festival Season. Senior Artists known for their adherence to tradition with impeccable padanthara are invited to present concerts. This also gives an exposure for the upcoming generation of young musicians to understand and emulate them. Young musicians of such a bent of mind are encouraged by giving them greater opportunities all round the year. , The constant pursuits of our ideals are being appreciated by the Senior Musicians, who have consistently extended their support by giving performances on this platform. Special mention has to be made of artists like Padma Vibhushan awardee T.N.Krishnan, Padma Bhushan awardee P.S.Narayanaswamy, Sangita Kalanidhis T.K.Govinda Rao, R.Vedavalli, Flute N.Ramani, Doyen Veena Artists the Late Kalpakam Swaminathan, R. Venkatraman besides many others. , We feel reasonably proud that our humble contribution by way of exposing the upcoming young musicians to the eternal excellence of our cultural milieu has started yielding results.
