Over 15000 children with Thalassaemia Major and Intermedia have been put off Blood transfusion. Dr Vijay Ramanan has done over 330 Bone Marrow, Stem Cell transplants for various indications including Thalassaemia. Awarded Pune youth icon in 2017.
