Activities and Achievement: , MUMKIN has executed the following programmes and activities on various occasions through several Cultural Programmes in its targeted locations to sensitize people on various social issues such as Health & Nutrition, Education, Child Labour, Right to Information, Domestic Violence, Women Empowerment AIDS Awareness etc. , The AIDS Awareness programme was centered on the groups formed by MUMKIN in the AIDS awareness week in the first week of December. Each day was marked by panchayat level meetings. In each block i.e. Pranpur, Manihari, Mansahi, Dandkhora, Azamnagar, Barari, Balrampur, Barsoi, Baisi, Dhamdaha, B. Kothi, Purnea East, Narpatganj, Forbesganj, Bahadurganj children and women who is helping us in realizing our vision and we look forward to their continued support in the coming years. In Health Related activities Mumkin is working for awareness generation programme for upgrading the Nutritional Status of women and children in the society. Through health camps Mumkin has been identifying the Severe Acute Malnourished children and helping them in referral services. Mother and family members of the malnourished children are given counseling through Mumkin field support team. Mumkin is also active for better coordination between Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre & Community Level government health workers. Mumkin is regularly upgrading its data base for further support the ongoing health programmes by government at community level such as Biannual Vitamin A Supplementation programme, Polio eradication programme, Immunization programme etc. Mumkin has formed several Poshan Rakshak Dal (PRD) at community level for better awareness regarding Importance of good nutritional level among children. , With the coordination of Dist. Level govt. departments Mumkin has been engaged for better information dissemination regarding government programmes. Mumkin has organized several Camps at village level for Awareness for Right to Information. Mumkin is supporting youth clubs for generating local leadership qualities in rural youths. Youths have been oriented for the importance of SHGs & use of RTI for greater benefits of programme like MNREGA, IAY, Sarva Siksha Abhiyaan etc.
