Growth of Drug abuse is a huge problem infront of the society. We should face this problem with unity. The M.V.S. arranged an awareness camp on Laheriya Sarai, Beta, Bela Shankar for the Prevention of drug abuse. Here we had experts from Navrang Drug De-Addiction cum Rehabilitation centre, Muzaffarpur. On the stall we show many types of literature for the precaution from drug abuse. The M.V.S. volunteers campaign door to door with experts. Volunteers and guest experts met with drug users including injecting drug users and counseled them to remove this addiction and to maintain sober life. Volunteers marked a positive result in society , Mithila vikash Seva Ashram organized three awareness Camp on drug abuse and illicit trafficking in three Blocks Bochahan, Mushahari, & Kanti in Muzaffarpur District, In awareness camp programme, The topics were discussed on Drug use the disease concept, Co-relation between drug and HIV, Health related general concept, Income generation skill etc. The people were sensitized on these topics they were emphasized on the fact that co-relation between drug and HIV. We disseminated accurate and complete knowledge on these issues and clarified their misunderstanding. All the participants felt included. They satisfied enough. Organization also provides counseling facilities & referral services under this programme
