MIDS has organized the rural women in to self-Help Groups it has got 507 Self-Help Groups at present. The totla membership of the SHG is 9358. , 59 SHG federations are formed in the operational area to take soical and community issues. , 1178 families are supported with credit facility to start income generation programmes. , 300 new houses built up in the project area for the economically poor sections of the society. , 328 sanitary tolets are constructed for the beneficiaries. , 230 Rainwater harvesting tanks constructed to save scarce rainwater. , 125 vermicompost units is set-up in the project area with CAPART and other agencies support. , R.M.K Loan of Rs.30/- lakhs availed and disbursed among the SHG members. , N.M.D.F.C loan of Rs.18/- lakhs availed and distributed among the minority groups. , 333 poor families are getting regular monthly support for their socio-economic development. , 197 poor children are sponsored for their studies.
