Special features of the organization

St Philomena Orphanage is a unit of Maria Goretti Society and it was started in 1935. The inmates belong to different religions and castes, most of them are from Bidar and Raichur. Childrens Day is celebrated every year with many activities and games with prizes for the children.They are taught moral values and the importance of cleanliness.
