Special features of the organization

Lokmitra has supported about 500 schools . About 100 schools with pedagogy input. A third of schools have showed good progress in learning and enrollment. There has been about 20 to 40 percent point improvement in learning outcome and attendance in these schools in one academic year. So far 10,000 out of school children identified and provided supplementary education and half of them joined schools. During 2005 Lokmitra innovated the practice of Teachers Peer Learning Forum and SMC federation.
