LINK De-addiction and counseling Centre is a service project of LINK Anti Addiction Citizens Committee, a registered Charitable Society founded on 25th August,1991 at Mangalore and recognized and aided by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. , De-addiction Treatment for the Alcoholics, Drug addicts and Tobacco Dependents , Organizing Community based De-addiction Camps , General Community Awareness Programmes on addiction related problems for various target groups , Preventive, educational and Awareness programmes to schools, Colleges, and institutions , Outreach Counselling facilities to schools and communities. , Formation and training of volunteers, Professionals, NGOs and people s groups , Co-ordination of Anti addiction Movement in the region , Counselling and Therapeutic assistance to Chemical Dependents and their family members , Formation and supervision of supportive groups, programmes and projects for recovering addicts , Supportive programmes for the Children and wives of Alcoholics , HIV/AIDS prevention and Management programmes , LINK got SPANDANA award by Indian Psychiatric society Karnataka for the dedicated service in the field of Alcohol and Drug addiction
